Cover letter correction

Bonjour,

Je viens de recevoir une offre de stage aux USA, et j'ai dû écrire une lettre de motivation de dernière minute car celle que j'avais fourni précédemment ne convenait pas ! Du coup je dois l'envoyer dans la journée aujourd'hui même. Si quelqu'un avait l'amabilité d'y jeter un petit coup d'oeil afin d'y corriger les éventuelles erreurs...? Je vous en serais très reconnaissant !
(Je m'excuse par ailleurs de poster un enième message sur le sujet, mais j'ai réellement besoin de cette aide.)

I am writing to explore the possibility of working for the ... Hotel this summer. I am looking for an internship placement in the USA starting in May, 30th 2011 and finishing in late September.

It’s been four years now that the hotel and restaurant industry is my passion and I am looking for the best training to enrich it. As you will see form my enclosed CV, I am currently a second year student at the ... where I am preparing a Bachelor Degree ... .Today, I would like to find an internship in the United States, to help prepare a potential worldwide career, as well as enhance my knowledge, skills and abilities of gastronomy and hospitality.

Thanks to the training I have received from my school and from my last internships, I have some notions of French and European management. I have had the opportunity to discover the basic rules of the hotel industry taught by experienced employees and managers. But working in the United States would allow me to expand my knowledge and experience to American management, regardless of whether I choose to specialize later on in operational or administrative supervision, and it would be a wonderful opportunity to discover new perspective of work.

I am attracted to the hotel industry for several reasons. First of all, it demands a certain rigor, accompanied by dynamism and courtesy. It further enables us today to live with other cultures in the world, and be a fluent speaker in foreign languages. I believe your establishment could offer me these opportunities through a training course. Indeed, I am keen to find a new challenge and am attracted to the ... Hotel as a leading boutique hotel. I believe that my ambition and my curiosity are strong enough to engage myself in such an experience.
