Impossible de télécharger des fichiers - HELP !!

bonjour à tous,

voilà je viens vers vous désespéré mais je rencontre un soucis.

j'utilisais jusqu'à il y a peu Mozilla Firefox 3 et depuis quelques temps il m'etait impossible de telecharger des fichiers. Je surfais sur des sites web et dès que je cliquais sur un lien pour download un exe ou un zip ou quoique ce soit la boite de dialogue me demandant où je veux télécharger le fichier apparaît .... je lance le téléchargement ..... le fichier se télécharger à priori normalement mais impossible de retrouver le fichier téléchargé que ce soit dans le dossier destination ou même en recherchant le fichier ailleurs.

Quand au lieu de faire "téléécharger" je fais exécuter j'arrive jusqu'à la fenêtre "voulez vous installer" je clique sur OUI et rien ne se passe.

je suis du coup repassé sur IE où tout fonctionnait et j'ai désinstallé FF mais depuis qqs jours j'ai la même chose sur I E et impossible de télécharger quoique ce soit !

Quelqu'un peut il m'aider ?
