You may be surprised to receive a letter from me after so many years of silence.
I thought often of you, and I had the desire to write before but I have not had the time and I did not know where to begin to thank you.
Since we saw it, my life changed a great deal. pour certains trucs j'étais pas sure à cause du contexte... surtout pour ce passage : "and I take control (of my life)." --> si elle est entrain de prendre le contrôle de sa vie, c'est correct, si c'est plus elle en a pris le contrôle, utilise le "took"
