exposé anglais

Bonjour a tous! je dois faire un exposé d'anglais oral, je suis en seconde. Est ce que quelqu un pourrait me dire les fautes qu'il y a sil vous plait, ce serait super sympa mais ne vous cassez pas trop la tete non plus. Mais si jamais vous avez d'autres idees , d'autres choses que je pourrai dire sur le basket n'hésitez pas. I- The history of basket-ball

The basket-ball has been created by James Naismith, a Canadian physical education professor, in 1891.He wanted to created a sport without physicals contacts, and which is play inside, during the winter.

The first match was the 20 janvier 1892, in the usa. It was the team , the « Y.M.C.A » who expanded this game in Europe, China,India and Japon.

Then, in 1932, the international federation of basket ball has been created.

In 1935, he apparead in the olympics games.

II-The game

-1) The rules : There are many rules in basket, so i will explain you the most important.
First, you can’t touch de ball with your foots.
You have to take the ball with one hand, if you take it with the two and if you make a dribble or run after, you have to give the ball to the adversary.but you can shot if you don’t run after.Shooting is the act of attempting to score points by throwing the ball through the basket.
You can do tree walks with the ball without make a dribble.
If you defend, you don’t have to touch the player who have the ball.
You can’t go out of the ground.

-2)Some technics movements :
- First, the shot : it’s the action of shoting de ball in the basket.
-Drribble : it’s when a player pass te ball under his legs for exemple, or when he make the ball do a bounce on the ground.
-A pass : it’s when a player give the ball to one of the player of his team.
-A dunk is when a player put the ball in the basket whitout shoting. He jump, and put the ball in the basket.

III- The ground


A olympic basket ball ground is in a gymnasium.
The sizes change in diferents countries.
The breadth is from 13 to 15 m, and the lenght is from 22 to 29 m.
In the two extremities, in the middle, there is a basket, at 2,90 m .
The ground has to be in wood.


IV- Most popular players

The first popular players was magic johnson. He played in the 80s. He was the king of the « showtime », he was always happy when he played. His size is 2,05m.
Then, the most popular player, who everybody know : Michael jordan, 1,98m, the best player which the NBA has ever known.He played in the chicago bulls and in the Wizards.his record of points in one match is 69 points.
Now, kobe brian, who plays in the Lakers, is calls Michael jordan junior.
