Aide en anglais: besoin de votre correction !!

Bonjour a vous!!
J'ai un travail à rendre en anglais pour lundi, nous devions ecrire un conte de fée et donc utiliser le preterit![:)]( ":)")
Je vous post ce que j'ai fais et je vous laisse donc me corriger lorsque j'hesite entre differentes expressions je les noterai en gras a la suite pour que vous me disiez laquelle choisir.

Once upon a time, a young man who/that walked around in the forest.
This man was very cruel, mean, harsh, nasty with/towards every animals.
He destroyed nest of birds, on tof of that, he scared them, he mistreated them. The poor animals were scared to death/were killed for fear. They wanted to hide.
The forest was famous, many people said that it was a magic forest.
The man has never believed at that.
One day, during (that) the man walked, he met a fairy who was very nice and cute. She had/has got long blond hair and blue eyes.
She wore a long white dress with a pointed hat.
As a result of the nastiness of the man, the fairy transformed him in/into a dwarf by the way he became more friendly and more respectful/he had respect for animals.
Then, he fell in love with the fairy.
As for to the feeling's fairy, she also fell in love with him.
Maybe the good attitude's man it was for something.
So the fairy decided to retransformed him in human.
They lived happy and they had many children. (je n'ai pas trouvé l'expression pour terminer par "ils vecurent heureux et eurent beaucoup d'enfants" si quelqu'un connait l'expression exacte merci de la remplacer![:D]( ":D")

Bon ben il me reste plus qu'a reviser pour les examen de niveaux et attendre qu' une ame charitable corrige mon expression ecrite![;)]( ";)")

salut je ne sais pas pour tous les mots mais pour le premier c'est who et non that, pour la 2 je pense que c'est with, ensuite were scared to death, après has, ceux d'apres je sais pas mais pour le derniers je pencherai plutôt pour more respectful
