Bonjour,
Dans le cadre de mes études je dois commenter à l'oral en anglais une video.Donc j'ai rédigé un commentaire et je souhaiterais avoir votre correction. Merci d'avance.
Sujet de la video : Petit reportage sur une gagnante anglaise à euromillions.
Présentation:
What we have here is report from Channel 4 which is a public-service British television station.
The woman that you will watch in the video is Angela Kelly and she won the UK's biggest lottery prize. : £35.4m (approximately 51millions d’euros)
Analyse:
The aim of this report is to bring back (reporter) a piece of news in brief .(un fait divers)
The events take place in England in August during a media conference where EuroMillions lottery winner Angela Kelly told her strory.
The beginning of the reportage is ironical. Indeed the journalist said «Will it change her life? Of course not. After all how would a cheque for 35 million pounds make any difference?”
In this video Angela seems still bein shock with her unbelievable discovery.
She has an impediment in her speech (Elle a de la difficulté à s'exprimer) but she reveals that she was not able to tick (pointer) her ticket when she looked the jackpot numbers.
Then the journalist said “mrs Kelly is or was perhaps, a 21 thousand pound a year postal worker in Glasgow.”
More over we can hear in this video that it was during a coffee break that she was checking her ticket.
And after that she asked to their colleagues to control her ticket before calling Camelot which is the operator of the national lottery in England.
At the end the journalist says that Mrs Kelly lives in a modest flat and she is separated but not divorced from her husband whom she'd be happy to give him some of the money.
Avis personnel :
In my opinion Angela Kelly has lot of chance and I am happy for her because I think she will stay a simply person and won’t become a new woman.
