The document on page 83 consists of a short written text and a visual document. The visual document is a cartoon. This cartoon is not very detailed. We see two characters and we presume the female character is the mother of the male character because he is in the bed and she
is telling him a story. On the written text we see a part of the story without
a doubt told by the mother.
I find this cartoon very humourous because the written text tells us "Romeo and Juliet met online in a chat room". Everybody knows
that Romeo and Juliet was written by William Shakespeare and he lived at the sixteenth century, so the "chat room" didn't exist at that time. Moreover, what is humourous
is that their relation ended when juliet's hard drive died. We see that the author seeks
has to criticize this type of meeting because there is no romanticism,
to the contrary
of the real
Romeo and Juliet.
According to me, there are a lot of places to meet someone. The best is probably the disco where there are a lot of people
whom purpose is (dont le but est) to meet somebody. There are good places too, like a concert where everybody likes the same musique. Today the fashion is to meet somebody on the net but in my opinion it isn't a good way because we aren't sure of the person
with which (avec laquelle) we speak.
