je me suis mis linux, il n'y a pas de soucis a part que je voudrais recompiler mon noyau pour que le systeme soit plus rapide pour mon ordinateur dont voici les caracteristiques:

cela fais environ 2 ans que j'utilise linux, mais avant j'utilisais un 333Mhz.
j'ai changer d'ordi l'annee derniere au mois d'aout

Ok, un noyau tout beau pourrait t'être bénéfique alors.
Il existe un grande quantité de tutoriels sur internet qui décrivent l'opération pas-à-pas.
Pour savoir quelles options cocher, essaye de taper le nom du périphérique sur google avec un "option kernel linux" ou quelque chose d'équivalent.

Je ne peux pas parler pour tous, mais je dirais qu'il y as peu de chance que quelqu'un fasse tout le boulot à ta place, cela demande trop de temps.

Tu n'as pas vraiment un problème, mais juste un peu de flémardise (avoue :D)!

# cd /usr/src && tar xvzf /lieu/du/fichier/linux-2.6.21.3.tar.gz (ou autre version)
# rm linux && ln -s linux-2.6.21.3 linux
#cd linux
# make menuconfig (tu trouve toutes les options que tu veux pour ton matos : elle sont facile à trouver c'est pas horrible)
# make bzImage modules modules_install (c'est le plus long il prend en compte les changements que tu as fais)
# make install (te met le .config le .system.map et le noyau dans le repertoire /boot)

Renseigne toi pour les options à cocher en fonction de ton matériel. Bonne chance.

si c'est juste pour rajouter une option à ton noyau, la majorité des distributions incluent leur config du noyau, tu peux te baser dessus pour modifier, c'est quoi ta distribution?

oui c'est vrai je suis un peu flemard et esinon ma distrib est aurox 12 qui elle est basée sur fedora core

si c'est comme fedora, tu devrais retrouver la config du noyau actuel dans:
/boot/config-version
